"About a year ago, our local Police Department initiated a trial program using a tracking device in a wristwatch to keep track of Alzheimer patients who had previously gotten lost. "The S-911 Bracelet Locator has been working great for the Grant County Sheriff's Office. It is saving the tax payers money by allowing juveniles to be placed on house arrest instead of placing them in juvenile detention at a cost of over $155.00 per day. We are also using it through the Grant County District Court system when the judge orders house arrest time instead of placing the person in jail.
The system works great in that it allows us to look at the person that is being monitored any time of day or night and that it is REAL TIME!!! I like being able to set up areas that are not to be entered or exited at my fingertips it helps cut down on the time you have to monitor the person. "Our company TeleOrbit, has been a customer and partner of Laipac for many years. We use their Lola for our emergency solutions and have recently tested the new LooK watch.
Before that, we had tested various "smartwatch-phones" but they all couldn't meet our requirements.
The LooK watch is the first that does. The charging "pad" works more intuitively than many others and the fact that Laipac has its own emergency app (Guardian Angel) installed and integrated (including the external SOS button) makes it a great device to use!
