Laipac Technology, Inc, was founded in 1999 by Canadian entrepreneurs Maria C. Pacini and Diego Lai. The vision of Laipac was simple, even at its founding – provide peace of mind to customers by crafting the absolute best, most reliable, and easiest-to-use locator devices on the market. Today, Laipac Technology has become an industry leader in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) products and services.

- Received Germany, Belgium, Ecuador and Kenya approvals for LooK COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test and LooK SPOT
- Launched LooK COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test and LooK SPOT in Europe, LATAM and Japan
- Launched LooK SPOT 2, a multi-slots reader for COVID-19 Detection to screen 500 people in one hour
- Received CE Mark for LooK SPOT 2
2020
- Created Laipac's Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) team with medical researchers, AI experts, and molecular biologists to combat the pandemic
- LooK SPOT COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test has obtained 97.4% sensitivity and 98.3% specificity through the clinical trial in St. Joseph's Hospital
- LooK SPOT COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test received CE IVD clearance for Europe
- LooK SPOT COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test submitted to Health Canada and FDA EUA for approval

-Partnership with Ryerson University to develop “Dynamic Crowd Management Response System” with real time position info for big data analysis. The objective is to protect the safety of people in a large crowd environment by using Laipac’s new wearable devices
-Successful Kickstarter campaign for LooK Watch with approx. 300% of goal reached
