Laipac Technology Inc. will be launching 2 new products of Starfinder AVL series at the CES show.
Starfinder Lite is a quadband GPS/GSM/GPRS compact AVL. It has the lowest cost in the market with highest performance.
Starfinder AVL Dual is a Orbcomm & GSM/GPRS dual mode AVL. The default mode is GSM/GPRS and falls back to Orbcomm's Satellite Network when the vehicle is out of the GSM/GPRS coverage area.

Laipac’s S-911 Personal Locator™ has summated the highest mountain - Kilimanjaro, Africa on Oct 16.
The S-911 was used to locate and monitor the progress of the mountaineer Hero - Bernard Goosen by wheelchair. It is a new Guinness World record.
The S-911 has been demonstrated as the best GPS personal locator in the industry by working under extreme weather conditions (- 40°C) during this great achievement.

Based on the GSM/GPRS and state-of-art GPS technology for satellite navigation, Laipac Technology Inc. will be introducing the new wrist wearable tracking device for personal safety and asset monitoring – S-911 Bracelet Locator. It caters to Law enforcement, Alzheimer’s patients, Executives, Lone Workers, Security guards and most importantly children and family.
The "S-911 Bracelet Locator" which is the size of a watch, is a GSM/GPRS quad-band phone with AGPS capability. “It has multiple sensors plus RF ID capability for B2B, Law Enforcement and consumer applications. Laipac’s S-911 Personal Locator™ has been awarded for the
official tender of South Africa Police Department.
The South Africa Police Department has awarded S-911 Personal Locator from Laipac Technology
as the official device for their national wide project. The project will be serviced by the Laipac
Africa office and Vodacom South Africa, by creating a strategic alliance.
Vodacom is the largest cellular network provider in the region. The project will consist of an estimated
180,000 S-911 devices over a 3 year period throughout the 2010 World Cup, outfitting
the police team with the S-911 Personal Locator to keep a watch on the streets. |
